SA, India 'on course' for $15bn in trade

Indian President, Pratibha Devisingh Patil is on an official visit to South Africa along with a business delegation and several government officials travelling with her.
South African President Jacob Zuma addressing the South Africa-India Business Forum in Pretoria on Thursday highlighted that a target was set by the two governments during Zuma's state visit to India in 2010 and the business between the two countries were set to reach $15-billion in trade by 2014. He further mentioned that, going by the latest trade figures - close to $7-billion has already been achieved by the end of 2011 and the target could be achieved earlier than anticipated.
"We are on the right path indeed," Zuma said.
