Delay in electoral results ...

Kenyans have decided. IEBC (Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission) is facing glitches on counting votes as electronic transmission system has failed on account of improper configuration of equipments and lack of trained staff. This, delays the announcement of their newly elected President. Going by the number of votes, Mr Uhuru Kenyatta is in the lead, still however its not yet over and has marginal lead as against his nearest opponent Mr Raila Odinga. IEBC has resorted to do it manually and is taking time. Businesses are shut and some towns look deserted, according to reports.
